Howdy, I'm Chad Eikenhorst with Millennial Home Inspections. With over 15 years of experience in home service industries, you can be confident when choosing me as your home inspector. I am a licenced HVAC contractor, and I am currently able to combine your home inspection appointment with a professional HVAC system evaluation. This will eliminate the need for inconvenient HVAC follow up appointments, which are commonly recommended by all the other home inspectors. The real estate market in North Texas moves fast, don't wait out the days it may take to set up a follow up with a trusted HVAC contractor.
As an HVAC technician with over four years of experience, I have run enough follow ups behind home inspectors to realize that a standard home inspection will not protect you.
Real Estate Home Inspections
A professional home inspection with a modern accessible report. Reports will be available online as soon as the site inspection is complete and your payment has been secured All reports follow the standards of practice set by the Texas Real Estate Commission. Follow links below to view a sample report. All real estate home inspections can include, at no additional cost, the option to have a separate professional HVAC evaluation performed during the same appointment time.
I recommend this option because it provides you with the best protection.
Professional HVAC Evaluations
A professional HVAC evaluation performed at the same appointment time as your home inspection. A separate report will be generated that will show detailed information about the HVAC system on the property. In a standard home inspection report, the inspector only measure the temperature difference between return vents and the supply registers. This is flawed for many reasons. Humidity and airflow measurements are required along with temperature difference to gain any real knowledge about the the HVAC systems performance.
About the Inspector
Howdy, I am a 5th generation Texan and 3rd generation Texas Aggie. I live in Weatherford, Texas with my wife Alicia and our children. While I was attending A&M in College Station, Texas I had various construction jobs and was an installer and service technician for Direct TV and Dish Network. I earned my bachelors degree in renewable natural resources, and spent several years as a wildlife biologist in South Texas and southern Africa.
I moved into the North Texas area a few years ago. I worked with a wildlife and pest control company, and eventually started a career in the HVAC industry. I have been servicing, repairing, and maintaining residential heating and air conditioning systems for over four years. I have serviced almost every neighborhood in the area, stretching from Pecan Plantation in Granbury to some of the high-rise tower condos in downtown Dallas. I proudly own and operate Millennial HVAC
I began thinking about becoming a real estate home inspector after I found myself running so many follow appointments behind home inspectors that obviously had no understanding of heating or cooling systems. Sometimes their reports indicated issues that did not exist or where misguided, but all to often I've been asked "Should'nt my inspector have caught that?" Most inspectors are simple turning on the AC and seeing it blows cold air.
If your familiar with Texas, I don't need to tell you how important the AC is in the summer time, don't take chances with the other inspectors out there.k,
